Mike van Graan is the Coordinator of the Sustaining Theatre and Dance (STAND) Foundation in South Africa. He was appointed to UNESCO’s Expert Facility on the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions from 2011-2018. For six years, he served as the Secretary General of Arterial Network, an Africa-wide association of creatives and cultural activists. In 2018, he was commissioned by IETM, Dutch Culture and On The Move to produce the toolkit, Beyond Curiosity and Desire: Towards Fairer International Collaboration. He helps to programme and facilitate the Atelier for Festival Managers. He is a multiple award-winning playwright whose work interrogates global and post-apartheid themes. مايك فان غران هو منسّق مؤسّسة الحفاظ على المسرح والرقص (STAND) في جنوب إفريقيا. تمّ تعيينه في مرفق الخبراء التّابع لليونسكو بشأن اتفاقيّة 2005 لحماية وتعزيز تنوّع أشكال التّعبير الثّقافي من العامّ 2011 إلى 2018. وشغل منصب الأمين العامّ لشبكة Arterial  لمدّة ستّ سنوات (Arterial Network) ، وهي جمعيّة تجمع مبدعين وناشطين ثقافيّين من مختلف أنحاء إفريقيا. في عامّ 2018، تمّ تكليفه من قبل IETM وDutch Culture و On The Move لصياغة مجموعة أدوات حملت عنوانBeyond Curiosity and Desire: Towards Fairer International Collaboration ( ما وراء الفضول والرغبة: نحو تعاون دولي أكثر عدلاً) . يساعد فان غران في تحضير ورشة العمل الخاصّة بمديري المهرجانات وتسهيل تنظيمها. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أنّه كاتب مسرحي حائز على العديد من الجوائز ويركّز في أعماله على مواضيع تطال العالميّة وما بعد الفصل العنصري. للمزيد من المعلومات، يمكن زيارة موقع: www.mikevangraan.co.za.
